Congress: Increase Medicare Physician Reimbursement as Part of Reconciliation Bill

The Senate is considering a budget reconciliation bill that includes a slight pay increase for physicians under Medicare in 2026 — but fails to reverse the cuts in reimbursement that took effect this year. A vote is expected by July 4.

AIMPA needs your help calling on Congress to fix that bill — and make physicians whole for the losses they’ve incurred this year.

We also want to encourage the House and Senate to permanently link Medicare physicians reimbursement to the Medicare Economic Index as part of the budget reconciliation bill.

Please fill out the form on the right side of the page, and follow the prompts to send a letter to your representative and senators.
