Paul Berggreen, MD, is a gastroenterologist and president and board chair of the American Independent Medical Practice Association (AIMPA). He discusses recent findings about the current state of physicians in private practice as outlined in the Policy Research Perspectives paper, “Physician Practice Characteristics in 2024: Private Practices Account for Less Than Half of Physicians in Most Specialties,” published by the American Medical Association. In this clip, he introduces AIMPA, which is open to physicians of all specialties.
