During a Medical Economics and Physicians Practice panel on independent practice last fall, David Eagle, M.D., a medical oncologist with New York Cancer and Blood Specialists and president of the American Independent Medical Practice Association (AIMPA), said inflation updates to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule are the single most important structural change Congress could make.
